The Kurager Spirit is collaborate with Unicef on its Schools for Africa Programm
Our Kurager Spirit goes beyond our everyday work, as it involves helping to improve the world we live in. This is why we collaborate with UNICEF Spain’s program called “PYMES Amigas” [SME Friends]. The program aims to raise awareness and mobilize resources to support children’s education through a global initiative called Schools for Africa.
We have joined this program because we firmly believe that education is one of the mainstays for the development of communities, and we want to help each and every child to have the chance to bring out the Kurager we have in all of us: to have the resources to be enterprising, creative, and let our imagination fly.
We are constantly seeking to nurture that spirit at a more local level, although as a company we are fully aware that the world is more than just our immediate surroundings, it is much more extensive, and we can all play a part in improving it. This initiative enables each one of us to do our bit to drive the values that define us, beyond our frontiers and helping those people most in need.
We have joined this program because we firmly believe that education is one of the mainstays for the development of communities, and we want to help each and every child to have the chance to bring out the Kurager we have in all of us.
This has informed our decision to go one step further and give back to society part of what we generate, and do so on a more global basis through an institution as dedicated as UNICEF. Besides being a value in which we firmly believe, education is a key issue that is part of the UN 2030 Agenda’s Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
Our collaboration constitutes a pledge to education in the future, and it is also crucial in the present, by ensuring that children have access to quality education and improving their own and their families’ lives to better themselves and their communities.
