Kurago Evolves: We Are Now Bystronic Software

Starting June 18, 2025, Kurago begins a new chapter as Bystronic Software, the global digital development division of Bystronic, the Swiss-based international leader in automation and sheet metal cutting solutions.

This change marks the natural next step in a journey that began in 2021, when Kurago joined the Bystronic Group to drive its digital transformation through industrial software. Since then, our team has developed the BySoft Suite, the first end-to-end software ecosystem designed to digitalize the entire sheet metal manufacturing process from quoting all the way to final delivery. Today, cutting and bending systems are fully digital, and Kurago’s teams have played a key role in developing these systems. Becoming Bystronic Software is the logical continuation of this integration.

With this move, Bystronic highligths the strategic importance of software within its global value proposition. Under a unified identity, we strengthen our mission to deliver integrated solutions that combine advanced machinery, automation, and connected software.

As part of this strategy, Bystronic has also announced the creation of a new innovation hub: the Bystronic Lab, located in Derio (Bizkaia), Spain. This international lab will serve as a space to test and validate new digital technologies in a real-world environment.
